I am declaring today’s Dinosaur Comic fabulous for three reasons:

I propose that it is manifestly more awesome to refer to all scientific laws/theories using the word “o’” instead of “of”, with an exaggerated Irish accent (at least that’s how I imagine T-Rex is saying it), and that we should all do this from now on.
“But maybe every atom of matter in the universe is imbued with just enough consciousness to decide to be a retaliatory dick every chance it gets!” I’m a sucker for magical theories that actually do a decent job of accounting for known scientific phenomena.
“I can live in a world of immutable scientific laws, or I can live in a world where I need to revenge myself on my kitchen floor because it smashed up the glass I dropped.” Related to item 2. Finding the truth is awesome and everything, but sometimes life is just more fun if you choose to believe something bat-shit insane, and sometimes it’s worth it.

You can do that? Why didn’t anyone tell me this earlier? I never realized I could open an SSH tunnel directly to an effectively completely hidden server (without ugly daisy-chaining) as long as I could SSH into a machine the target host wasn’t hidden from. Awesome.

Initiative Would Make Divorce Illegal in California

Not exactly the most mature or productive response to the Prop 8 debacle, but it is very entertaining & funny (and is actually a rational point, even if it’s not going to convince anybody and is being portrayed in a really snarky way). I hope this really makes it onto the ballot.
